"The Normal Exceptional!" exhibited at the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) 2023
Last week, our company exhibited our film "The Normal Exceptional" at the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) 2023 with the support of Junior Action Lab. The event was successful and we had the opportunity to network with other exhibitors. We were also supported by Mr. Law Kar, a well-known Hong Kong film critic, and Mr. Yuen Wo Ping, an internationally renowned action director who presented the Lifetime Achievement Honor to Sammo Hung at the 16th Asian Film Awards ceremony.
Junior Action Lab also supported other independent Hong Kong films, including Mr. Law Kar's autobiographical documentary "Cinema Strada," Mr. Lo Wing Keung's animation work "Taly of the Rally 2023," Mr. Law Shing Hon's documentary "Music Beyond Sound" and the film, TV, and animation series "Ming the Minibus." We hope that these works will promote social inclusiveness.
"The Normal Exceptional!" Episode 2 is on!
"The Normal Exceptional" Since 2021, it has been shown intermittently for more than a year and has not only drawn the attention of the community to the development of SEN children but also received support from various charities and non-profit organizations. The second series is now being produced by Yuen Woo Ping and Mark Siu and directed by Mark Siu, with the hope of creating a new cultural milestone. This second series will have collaborations with professors and scholars from different departments of EdU, PolyU, CityU, and HKBU, joining hands with the academic and cultural sectors. In addition, we have also collaborated with the information technology sector to raise awareness of SEN and to promote social inclusion.
Yuen Woo Ping also highlighted 2 pillars of the Cantonese Opera Troupe, which will create a new chapter in Hong Kong's cultural scene together.
